I really did think about backdating this so it looked like I had actually got it done on time. My life is in flux right now and working on this pages has a tendency to come in bursts. I hope you enjoy this one, I have been thinking about all the horrible ways you can deliver bad news. I think this one to be rather powerful, public and devastating... and completely hypothetical

   For those of us in Pennsylvania, the primary is coming up shortly and the phones are hoping with pollsters and prerecorded messages from Obama's wife. I am sure she would only ask for the right thing, and waste precious digital recording on the answering machine to do it. I can't help but feel that no matter who wins, all their energy from the primaries and optimism on the campaign trail will come to a rather abrupt and painful halt as they realize how fucked Bush left this country. Read the Declaration of Independence again, see how much of it runs true for our current situation.

   I was riding to visit my friend Ben and went past an intersection with people protesting the war. They all looked like the Berkeley Generation, those that had seen protest as an effective means to political change. Sadly reason is no longer powerful. We have come to terms with our self-serving attitude, it doesn't embarrass us when it is publicity revealed. But if it cuts into our profits...
