Facebook is a new addition to my life, one of the ilk of Friendster and Myspace. The true brilliance of Facebook is the ability to play games online, games like the scramble and what can only be scrabble but by another name. If spelling had not been constantly my worse subject for all of my childhood I might have a better chance. Still it is very useful to connect to a whole lot of people that I haven't talked to in a long time.

Facebook also seems to instil a desire to collect as many friends as you can, a notch-on-the-belt kind of thing. At a certain point it means you end up with a list of friends so long that you never get around to talk to them all. Hence the comic.
