I have decided as of two days ago to make a 34 page art book by mid next week. I think it is a reasonable goal, something that would provide a nice challenge. There is a wonderful site call Lulu.com that basically allows me to give them the images and then print as many copies as I want for my own uses, resell or sell in their store.

My literary construction is going to have a combination of abstracted digital art and various spam emails that hold a poetic note in my eyes. Given that most of these emails were generated by a computer I imagine that I should have no copyright issues but perhaps I underestimate the consciousness of the machines. I am really excited by the project and so far it looks pretty cool. I have all the pages mocked up in one night, now it is time to go back, refine some of the artwork and format the text properly.

Once I have it finished and I am back from my motorcycle trip, i.e. mid June, I will make it available for purchase. I am also working on an RSS feed so you can easily know if I have put up new content. Testing it offline seems prudent so that won't be operational until later this week.

One final note. After going to California I got to see the Lakers in the last season with their big hitters, upon moving to Pittsburgh I saw the Steelers take the Superbowl and now it seems that despite the lack of sporting bones in my bodies I must watch the Penguins and their attempt and hopeful success of the Stanley Cup. It should be fun!

Peace,
Kendall
