Welcome to page 1 of Dr. Goodspeed's Amazing Creatures of the Rustbelt. This is a story I have been working on for years and realized that it is time to put it down on paper, so to speak. I just got the Illustrated Spam Poetry book done and I am waiting to upload all the files to order a proof. During this arduous process it occurred to me that I had been putting off Dr. Goodspeed's book for too long. For the next couple of months I will post a new page once a week (given how work intensive each one is) in place of my usual comics.

   For whom I haven't already told the story, this series focuses around the adventures of a Dr. Goodspeed. He is an aging scientist traveling by himself trying to unsuccessfully promote his book and ideas when he crashes his car in the middle of Pennsylvania. Finding himself in an abandoned factory town with no one around for miles he takes shelter in a factory but discovered a whole new breed of creatures who have evolved to live in the Rustbelt. Once I get all these pages drawn I am going to make a book and will be selling it here and elsewhere.
